Stef Loveland

Stef Loveland is deeply passionate about Jesus, people, and adoption. As a momma, wife, friend, daughter, and counselor, Stef is grateful to pursue all three. Adopted twice, once by the Lord, and once by her parents, Stef is given great hope by the story adoption tells and she loves to share this good news. Stef and her husband West adore their son Shepherd, and are thrilled to continue building their family through adoption.

Stef is counselor and loves her job at a high school in Kansas. She is also a public speaker, and is writing her first adoption book, Kept-Not Borrowed. She holds a M.S in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and School Counseling from John Brown University. Additionally she holds her B.S. in Elementary Education from Pittsburg State University and spent a year studying leadership and Bible at the Kanakuk Institute.

Melissa Corkum

As a post-adoption support specialist, co-founder of The Adoption Connection, Safe and Sound Protocol Practitioner, and adult adoptee, Melissa Corkum has helped hundreds of adoptive parents shift to a brain-based view of behaviors so they can laugh more and yell less. She and her husband, Patrick, have six kids by birth and adoption. They've taught her a lot about what creates thriving parent-child relationships…and what doesn't.

Jaymi Pic_edited.jpg

Jaymi Matranga

Jaymi has experienced the Child Welfare system from almost every side. She is a former foster youth and a current parent (and grandparent!) through birth, foster care, kinship guardianship, and adoption.

Additionally, when she is not at home with her husband caring for teens and toddlers, she is working as a social worker coming alongside of other families in crisis. She is passionate about trauma-informed care, elevating the voices of those with lived experience, and preserving biological family connections when at all possible. Jaymi carries a message of hope, redemption, and belonging.

Overall, her unique perspective and full-circle experiences have become the platform from which she advocates on behalf of vulnerable children, teens, and families.

Ferly

Ferly was raised surrounded by musicians all her life and has been involved with worship ministry since high school. Leading worship is one of the great joys of her life and she loves that she gets to be an usher for the Holy Spirit so that people's hearts can be open to what He has to say. Ferly lives in San Diego with her husband, Mike, and son, Mateo, where they love beachside bike rides and watching epic movies.
